Her eyes were of the
utmost beauty, resembling
a kaleidoscope of green
and golden citrine
Her skin so incredibly
delicate you dare not
reach out to touch the
single tear slowly
rolling down her chin
for fear she may shatter
Adding to her beauty,
by her side is a
solitary rose of crimson
perfection wafting her
favored scent to fill her soul
Yet it is her soul that
speaks volumes through
those magnificient eyes
of wonder as if to say
to the world
"of my own will,
I am at peace and free
of any bonds that held
me captive"
The tear you witnessed was
shed with serenity and joy
Today believe I am a
precious existence
My spirit now balanced,
memories no longer
fragmented pieces of
a splintered past
Look into my eyes
what do you see?..
