Don't you ploy with me
I'm blind rage, raw intensity
Everything you wished to be
You're nothing more then a maggot to me
At the final day, I won't side with the gods
I won't bow to any man, owned by no one
Son of Fenrir's rage, Blood of the wolves
Terror of ages, hell's furious tools
Side with the Giants, Fenrir is free
Prepared for battle, prepared to bleed
I see faces of one hundred men
Eyes like ice with a glorious tint
In the path of destruction we all hold ground
The gods expect obedience, none kneel down
Side with the giants, our forces are strong
Stronger and braver then the forces beyond
It's time for war, it's time to fight
Swords and axes clash such a wondrous sight
Axe to the skull of the Avatar
Thundering stampede from a legion of Minatour
The gods came for a slaughter, and a slaughter they got
The finest of the ages is what they brought
We came with the brave, the few and the proud
We came to fight for honour, we took there ground
We brought the Titans, the giants and beasts
They brought soldiers, with faith and belief
Blind the sky and let it rain death
Leave the phantoms to wander in the war torn mess
Blood of the gods bathes me from head to toe
I can feel Fenrir's rage starting to flow
Our legion of warriors coated in flesh
We desecrate the bodies, remove all the heads
Barbaric horde with mystical beasts
When the sun falls we celebrate with a maniacal feast
Fruits of war and the blood of the gods
We devour their souls and let there spirits rot

Okay.
Well this indeed makes for a great fantasy style verison of Armagaeddon it also may be what the real Armagaeddon fought only with those that would be Gods or thought themselves Gods. You did spin an most interesting tale here. I would say perhaps you do have the makings of a book. It is certainly worth a try if you will.

Wow, the wording in this was excellent. I'm not usual very enchanted by rhyming but this one was done so well.
It was interesting to read a poem about the final battle because I've had many dreams about it and the way you portrayed it is almost the same. Well done!
Thanks for entering my contest!

This painted such a vivid image, like a lot of well written mythology does. Very intense, gives the mood of a battle. Interesting choice, I got a lot of mythology but no Norse I think, except for this one, of course.
Thank you for entering with something so unique. -
I love it and the way it flowed! I loved the image it gave me. Very good for using mythology!

Wow, what a write! Very well done... and of course an extra point or two for involving my favorite mythology.
I thoroughly enjoyed this, especially the mood and feeling of it. The last stanza seems to combine a few more cultures than merely Norse, but it's done in such a way to make it interesting and fantastic, rather than taking away from the write. Thanks for this great entry!

Seeing as Ragnarok is "The Final War" I only seen it fit to throw in a few cultures to it.

You'll need to add an author's note telling me what tale this is associated with, or I'm afraid it'll be DQ.
I see a few different referances, but it's important I hold everyone to the rules. -
Such a veil of anger and mystery. So powerful and emotionally-fueled. The mental picture is vivid and exquisite. Well done!
