She walked in the light
And then she was gone
Now I wonder the Earth alone again
Waiting for the time to come
When I find another
One so precious,
One so much more like myself
Who hides from the break of day
And drinks from the flesh of mortal men
But for now I lie awake in my darkened tomb of despair
Wondering why she did it
Tonight I came across a young lady
My fangs pierced her neck
The blood was thick and warm
And it reminded me of her kiss
I saw the tears falling from my face
But I couldn't feel them running down my cold, pale face
Was I such a disgrace?
Or did she want to see the sun once more?
I would've loved her forever,
Now she's betrayed me so
I left the teenage on Nature's floor
And continued my routine stroll
But I couldn't get her out of my head
As I came to the cementary
I realized that I am the walking dead
I have no meaning, no purpose
Amongst these mortal beings
I have only my black heart
That she has torn apart
And though I long for another
I can't think of a better lover
I can still feel her wet hair
Silently running acroos my cheek
Her hands pressing against my back
Her dress swaying in the wind
Now she's left me all alone
The one who I had made my own
With the torture of her memory
For now until eternity.

This is an interesting write. I'm not really sure how a vampire is personal...but that's ok. Thanks for your entry!
