About a girl I used to babysit. I can only hope that she's in a better home now...
I really do wish abuse would never happen to anybody at all, especially small children like her. Nobody deserves the pain she went through. Nobody.
I know my flow is very choppy, but this is just a rough draft and will need a lot of editing.

aside for this being a true story, i love the lyrics. i think they're very well done and you've got a good song here. sure there might be a few changes you could make or maybe add a thing or two but that's only what i think, and the way you have it here right now, is great. if you want any help or something like that i'd love to. keep up the good work

Child abuse...that's a tough subject to witness, Livi; I know first-hand. When I was twelve years old I learned that one of my friends was abused by his alcoholic mum and dad. It's such a shame to see so many children like "Lucy" go through such a hard time when they're so young. You are wise and sweet to pray and hope for this young girl to grow up in a better and safer how than the one she was in.

Great write.. I think it's wonderful that you care about this child.. I pray, as you do, she is somewhere safe now, where she can experience real love at it's fullest.
