I wonder what it'd feel like
To veer into oncoming traffic
And cross that yellow line
Daring all that glitters
And all that's gold
So brilliantly
Blindingly
Dying to discover...
Let go (oh the sound)
And let it take you
Let it break you
Let it shake you
Shattered glass
You will pass
Into the everlast (and let go)
Cross your heart and hope to die
It's okay to live the lie
Just a stage and just the act
Take a bow and tip your hat
Let the lights down low
The world may never know
Let your mind wander
Just a little on the wayside
Never failed to wonder
What it's like (Just what it's like)
Let go (oh the sight)
And let it take you
Let it break you
Let it shake you
Shattered glass
You will pass
Let it pass
Into the everlast (let go)
The world may never know...
But I will know just how to
Let go (oh the touch)
And let it take you
Let it break you
Let it shake you
Shattered glass
You will pass
Into the everlasting
Night of new perception
Night of mass deception
And the world may never know
Just what it's seen...
While it was sleeping...
