i find the true meaning of "me"
what I see before me today
is what I saw behind me yesterday
thinking like the terra cotta of David
the spirit of my colossus takes me under
dragging me down the road less traveled
where I make a path for myself to follow
under the weight of the world inspiration finds
a dusty shaded road to travel by
