No safe place to hide from the strom,
That day the rain came down on our faces,
We stood outside the school that night.
This was our setting, of all places.
I took your hand as we ran through the rain.
And you followed, face lit with a smile.
Cars zoomed past, as did those who cared.
But the water didn't bother, so we walked for miles.
The thunder crashed and the lightning shone.
The rain came down, and made your face glow.
as the light caught your eyes I saw a tear.
I asked what it was, you calimed not to know.
I asked you again, and you let me know
You would never be happier than on this night.
So on this night I let you know something as well.
I would only be happy, if you stayed in my life.
We made our agreement, however unoffical.
That marriage would be in our imideate path
Love soared that night, as we sat in that rain.
And my heart bound to yours, the whole of two halfs
As this rain binds us I find life complete.
Now I know that love can be real.
Thanks to you my life will have joy.
And because of you I now feel.

I didn't really enjoy this poem. It was a nice story & I could picture it, but it didn't fully inspire me.
