A deep need is brewing
The need for a lens
The lens of enlightenment
And the lens of distortion
They shield from scorning
And help us make amends
Keep back the judgement
And holding the tension
They can bring cunning
They can bring friends
They can bring easement
They can bring fortune
But a fate will be coming
For using a lens
Can cause great ailment
And leave you with questions
"Will I be scheming
As I stare through this lens?
Is it all just a figment
As I stay an urchin?"
The need that is brewing
That deep need for a lens
Has a cost of payment
A cost not mentioned
It will take away
And not give back
Steal what it may
And hold you back
So stay away
From the lens
See with your eyes
And keep your perspective
For nothing is as valuable
As seeing through your eyes
And remaining Faithful
To all that you are
