& trails broken glass
& a jaw & a head & a heart
she's been talking alot with the
books and the walls,
( But no longer can tell them apart)
She was ripped up again,
//her wounds on the mend//
'Cause with a doll it's just all
games &&& fun
Playtime goes by still the
doll doesn't cry,
||||but she can feel her
cloth heart come undone|||
&this is a fairy tale
&this isn't real
&this one's an unhappy ending
'cause the doll sits alone
and a sawdust stuck moan-
lays somewhere too deep to uncover
so the dollwillsitpretty
&the silence won't matter
and the dollwillsitstill
(so the pretense won't shatter)
and her mouth won't erupt in a
((((S.C.R.E.A.M))))
so the dollwillsitbroken,
the smile on her token,
{to dying in silence & dreams}
and when in the end,
her tiny soul dies,
when the air is filled up
with her candyland sighs;
:::she will find all her wishes were never:::
Dollsits and cries,
fogs button glass eyes,
*(admits that alone is forever)*

Goodnight Sweetheart, The Stitches Are Coming Apart
Inspired by the last song lyrics, and by a book I read recently called Winkie.

Such a Sharp Poem ::puts band-aids on bleeding eyes::
The combination of childishness and ominous energy explodes into an enjoyable piece. I love the cleverness. My favorite lines are probably "When the air is filled up/ With her candyland sighs" Candyland was totally my favorite game when I was 4, and the image of a candyland sigh blows my mind.
The idea of the doll having a tiny soul (in correspondence to her miniature size) also makes me grin.

Very nice to read something like this
and when in the end,
her tiny soul dies,
when the air is filled up
with her candyland sighs;
:::she will find all her wishes were never:::
Something new, I love it!
