Other friend’s lies
Is all that I can hear
As the babies cry down the street
The water hits the pavement

Because I know I've already sold my own soul
Lying in corner
Body leaned upon against the wall
As the sliver blade penetrates my arm
I bleed just to know that I'm alive
Through tear strained eyes
My world slowly gets cloudy
Can't find the strength to face the day

You shatter all of the walls
To protect myself from you
You opened up my shell
Tried to fix me, when I was meant to broken

I was inspired by one of my favorite songs
Iris by the "GOO GOO DOLLS"
