I turned back time
to hold on a little;
your car chasing
too fast to grip-
peoples faces molding
into the sand,
my hair just rattled
and caught my lips.
The sunlight cracked;
sparkling like tears
where it left a little hole,
and I burrowed in its clouds
so that everything was pure
'til I bestowed my soul.
I leant over for
the smallest of thank you's
to undo what you had sown,
until the smell of you
deceived me into
cherishing my own.

Author notes
Just a quick crappy jot.
Note: Take a small breath where there are ends of lines, it makes the rhyming and flow a lot easier.
Please tell me what you think

stunning
"my hair just rattled"
"The sunlight cracked;"
"I leant over for
the smallest of thank you's"
Some of these verses struck me to the mind and took out my heart. Wonderul imagery. This is an amazing write to the point I'm not sure exactly where to examine but instead just sit back and enjoy the subtle hints of living life with the wind at the back of my face. well done.
