to match the completeness I have known ...
The tears that I bare to you
to dry those tears you shed ...
The truth that I reveal to you
to understand all that you've said ...
The laughter that I share with you
to warm a gladdened heart ...
The love that I give to you
to join, and never to part ...

I'm so glad I found this poem, apart from the fact it reminds me of one of my own! well also a wonderful memory that I have. I loved the way you opened with the recollection of a song and the intensity of the love you obviously have shines through. Having read your author's notes really brings this home to me and it's so evidently an elegy of intense love you have allwoed us to share. Geeat write, I really liked this. Thank you.
