Look at the Willows
As they bend and cry softly
For those they have lost
As they bend and cry softly
For those they have lost
Author notes
I absolutely love this haiku, we had to write them in English and this is the only decent one I've ever been able to write. It's my favorite poem out of all I've written. This was of course written by me, Charlotte Gray, without any outside help. (I'm a big girl now )

wow, This is really good. It reminds me of my poem titled, "The Garden". Keep up the good writing.

A beautiful write filled with a grand backdrop of emotion. I only write one of any form of poem generally and the only haiku I have is one about anger.

My favourite trees = weeping willows. Such a beautiful poem, and it seems almost like a metaphor to me, like a girl dragging her feet, or slumped over her bed, or curled up, crying softly so nobody will hear her, just wanting what she's lost back. Beautiful poem!
