I can't be accountable for how I am
I've been out for a long time
Flawed and scarred
Burnt and charred
I'm anything but perfect
Life often finds it way
To turn a man hard inside
Hollow and hurt
Alone and curt
You'll see if it you focus on the surface
Sell me for half price [Don't give me the benefit of the doubt]
Marked down; still not a good deal [Don't bother trying me out]
My surface is rough, scratched at from the inside out
Not so smooth on the edges and full of doubt
I'm scratched at on the outside
But look a little bit deeper; beyond the surface
And you may find something you've never expected
Beauty can be found in the strangest of places
Sometimes you have to fight to see beyond what you THINK you see
Are you ready for a battle?

Just written to give a little information on my name.. why I've chosen it. Not great, but I like it.

I love this. it really is beautiful and could be turned into some kick ass lyrics. the last line really sticks in my mind...I love the challenge of it. this fits your perfectly...and its just...great, as cheesy as that sounds.
