Hand in Hand.
Hand in hand is where They had begun.
Meeting at the rooftop of school,
And hiding from the bright sun.
Who knew this is the way it’d turn out.
At first it was just little things.
Cheap necklaces, roses from the park,
And glittery fake diamond rings.
They were destined to be together, not torn apart.
They were OutCasts, rebels, Goths.
They were labeled too many times,
And if They had left it wouldn’t be a loss.
He was what She was simply all about.
The darkness hid Them from the day.
The lies and sins swirled in their veins,
And the night took Their words away.
Hand in hand, they held the keys to each other’s hearts.
But it was just the way They were.
They smiled, laughed, and lived all the same,
But they found pure happiness in each other, for sure.
They’d be together forever, now, without doubt.
Without a note and reason, they held hands.
Their nails dug into each other’s hand to ensure trust,
And They jumped, meeting with their heart’s demands.
Their statistics quickly went off the charts.
Hand in hand is where They had end.
Laughing together about how hard it’d be
For their families to comprehend.
Hand in hand, together forever, without pain, without shout.
Hand in Hand.
Hand in hand is where They had begun.
Meeting at the rooftop of school,
And hiding from the bright sun.
