The Legacy

We fly each night in shear delight
neath the shining moon and stars
with beating wings our soul does sing
as we glide the night on high

But with the dawn the beauties gone
for the day cannot conceal
what man has done beneath the sun
his legacy revealed

For we can see the tragedy
of a wounded world below
for they bring pain with their reign
such is man's arrogance and folly

Please tell me what you think

This was catchy and interesting. Shor tand to the point, I liked it. I liked your line, "For the day cannot conceal/what man has done beneath tha sun." Very intersting.

A great write! You've painted many astounding images, and made a terrific point as well. Man's legacy of destroying everything we touch... If only more people felt the same.
