Everyone has different problems,
but it's hard to get by alone.

Like in the time,
Before the Wizard of Oz,
when the wicked witch of the west,
was kind
heartbroken
and lost,
she needed someone
to hear her story.
So now, I am here
to listen
and understand
so that someone
feels loved.

Nicely written, but the Wizard of Oz reference is strange, and your author's comments are even stranger, which leads me to believe this was a previous Wiz of Oz contest entrant. It was probably fantastic for that contest, but it doesn't stand alone too well, at least for me. Thank you for entering the contest.

i like this.. although i'm not a huge wizard of oz fan, it's obviously a huge thing that's impacted a lot of people and i like that.. great write, and name, and good luck to you!
