These are the weird sorta feelings I had after I broke up with my first boyfriend. I wanted him back, and it was hard for us to adjust. But now, we're friends and we have nothing but love for eachother.

I really like this poem. Some of the flow is a little off at times, particularly the second last stanza. However, I think you really captured the bittersweet pain of first love and its demise. Well done.

life is hard to deal with sometimes we have to step back
Stepping back is often best for both youcould be on the same trip he if you get pulled in on his level. there is love out there for you dear he is just not the one at least at this time you are under 50 aren't you, well you still have pleanty of time.
