please tell my sister that I can have more than 2 gum balls at a time (By the way she has been very naughty),
make fat cat be nice when I walk by him (so he doesn't get my toes),
and tell my papa everything is alright( and that every kid picks their nose),
keep everyone safe and warm and let them have food in their belly(I will share),
don't let monsters come in my house anymore( last time they put gum in my hair),
thanks for my garden and flowers momma said I cant touch( I think I will pick her one today),
and we sure love you and you love us I bet( how about you come to my house so that we can play!).
Amen

If that isn't just the sweetest poem I've ever read. Very loving, a poem to melt the hardest heart.
Very cute, but very lovely at the same time.

-
I'm sure you had a hand in this but it's the thoughts that are important... What a wonderfully gentle and loving expression of a childs simplicity and honesty. I'm glad you still have that within you...

This poem took me back to when I was a boy and the world seemed so different. Penny chews were ten a penny and people didn't cuss and swear. We were innocents and remained that way unlike some of the youth of today. Just this morning an Asian man stole my slippers.

That is so very cute you should be very very proud of your little boy. It gets my clap.

-
Keep your clap to yourself.

Thats my daughter, silly, not a boy..

How cute, I love Karlea!!!

AWWWW
How sweet. Only a 3 year old could be naive enough to believe that God actually gives a crap what she wants! (Ok, and some other idiots believe), not that I am calling your girl an idiot, that I am most certainly not, she doesn't know any better! Hopefully she will learn when she gets an education! Until then, this really is super sweet.

- I love my midget- this comment is for only you!
I dont believe that anywhere in my notes did I ask for any idiots comments like yours.
So until then, keep your rude ass comments to yourself k.
Maybe after you get an education, you will know better.

Such beautifully natural gentle and tender heartfelt words, I can nver have children, but there are times I wish could reading poems from children, listening to my newphews and nieces, or wathcing them do some dumb things children do, no malice in that comment ment, I was child once and i done some really dopey things, glad parents didnt have a movie camera till later or I'd really want to hide on family reunions.
This was was an awesome poem, really enjoyed reading it.

Girl this is to cool! This piece, wow, filled with such a strong sense of innocents and love. Fragile, a child's love, a playful spirit and that humor that only they possess. of-course we had some of that once, wouldn't it be amazing to keep some of it as we get older. I know when I'm in the art studio I sometimes feel a bit of her still in there, it's amazing!
Groovy Write!

From the eys of a child.
A wonderful poem that portrays the innocence of children seen through one little girl's eyes. We are all born equally innocent but learnt the bad things along the way ... this is called life. However depending to some extent we are only what we live and mostly the product of our parents. We know naturally what is wrong yet let what is right get cloudy and indiistinct and this is self indulgence, and that is the biggest problem of the human race. The need for more (greed) be it power, money or chattels.

It is full of simplicity and very sweet and endearing...A reminder of what life is all about; when seen through the eyes of a child it is so easy to seee
