Gaia and the Soul (Two Parts)

The Soul Speaks to Gaia
Oh Great Mother, who are Mother of All Ages
Thou hast nourished me and my house
For as long as we have endured.
I have tried to find words within my soul
To speak of your praise.
Thus, I realized in my shortcomings
That there are no words of this age
Or of ages past that could fully magnify
The beauty that ism Yours alone.
For I am but mortal in this life
And have much that needs learned
Yet I shall carry on and on
For as long as it takes
To find my soul to rest
In you once again.

Gaia Speaks to the Soul
Out of the depths have I bore you
Within my womb, the dirt, the Earth
I gave you breath through the trees with the wind.
In water did I seal your life in blood
Yet in fire did I ingite your spirit.
From that day forth I made one promise
That I would endure with you unto the ages of ages.
For I am within you
I am all about you.
Within the light of your soul
The fragile flame that burns
I am there with you throughout time and space.
Your words are not needed
For only by your actions of love
Will you find the proper ways
To express your love to Me
For I am within they as well.

Please tell me what you think

    Typo in line 10.

I like this poem. It has simple imagery but it's not boring. I also like the two parts of the soul and Gaia speaking to each other. I haven't seen many poems that speak with Her voice. Good job.
