The Abyss

Damnation
Fall into temptation
Engulfed in Hell's eternal fire

Sinking in satan's wickedness of muck and mire
Brought to you by your lustful and sinful desire

Turning your back on heavenly bliss
Choices made are amiss
The abyss

    Mom...I love you...

Others may guess your thoughts from what you say,
As storms are guessed from clouds where darkness broods.

    Good

I wish more people understood that our eternal destiny is determined by the choices we make as we walk through this life. 1 Corth. 10: 13 tells us that God always restrains temptation, holding it just short of it being able to overwhelm the believer. That means when we give in to temptation, it is a choice we have made.We therefore have no right to complain about the consequences of our choices. You have encapsulated this truth beautifully in this work. Well done....as usual.

    BEAUTIFULLY EXPRESSED!

I believe we all have made choices we later regret, some bad ones and others where at the time is seemed right. a poem from the heart.
