Wedding Vows

My Heart is Your Home

We join our hearts as one today,
Together we will find our way
To build our love, a hearth so warm,
A shelter from life’s harshest storm.

Your arms are my shelter,
my heart is your home.
With gratitude
we'll live our days,
We need not walk alone.



This Day

This day I give my love, myself, my life to you.

I promise to embrace our warm spring days,
to keep you safe through winter's storm,
to cheer your race to chase your dreams,
to hold you close if dreams may die.
to build new dreams together.

I will cherish you, comfort you, care for you
all the days of my life.

I promise to be your harbor,
your rock,
your shelter,
your home.

    Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I love the second one's meaning, it was...amazing. I can definately see myself saying this to Jordan on our wedding day.

    This poem brought a smile to my face. I especially liked the following lines:
    "Together we will find our way

    I also like how you included the seasons in this:

    "To embrace with joy our warm spring days,
    to keep you safe through winter's storms."
