If you ask a salior
Of the crimson skies
He will tell you the tales
He will not tell you lies
He will say what he can
Of unsettled scores
Of abandoned trails
And of long lost wars
The bloody beast
The long lost kin
The hearts betrayed
The battles they will never win
Of how the sun will rise in the east
Bearing witness to those foul fights
Of how justice was delayed
Left to wait alone without any lights
So as you watch the crimson skies
Remember the brave who have died
Remember the hardship and the pain
Remember those who have not lied
As you watch the crimson skies
