I Left My Heart At The Train Station

I left my heart at the train station,
I left my stomach too..
For this was the new "atomic train"
and off and away it flew.
I left all at the train station,
it was such a speedy ride.
That when they slowed down to the nearest stop,
they'd discovered that I died.
Like I said...
I left my heart at the train station....

Ah, I see it paid to give in to temptation and take heart literally. Good work, this is funny. Good to know I was bested by a worthy adversary.

Wonderful! Nearly entered my mind completely. I loved this. Not cliqued and brillant. Well done. Lots of weird imagery and common sense hehe.
    Much luck.

I thought this was going to be about love *blah, blah, blah* but was pleasantly surprised that it was both funny and morbid. I really needed a strange but witty poem and this has sated my hunger. Thank you, and good write.
