Remembering

Missing image
Remembering those moist full lips,
A smile...
that would light up a room,
And warm heart
found in the alone of the day,
Eyes met...
one to one
sensuous in that completion,
Hand in hand,
Where that touch is needed,
And your sweet voice
whispers
to meet that need
where one reaches
beyond the darkness.

just bookmarked this one, it is gorgeous; the sensuality, the look, the touch, the smile that finds you in the 'alone' of the day, what an original and wonderful (if all too familiar to me) way of putting that feeling. Stunning in its simplicity, yet entrancing in its complexity, I can't beleive you've only had one comment. What a loss to the readers of quality poems not to find this one.

    soft sigh,
    Sheona
