I may only dream of being
With someone as great as you
Someone who makes me happy
Who gives this world its hue.
But if dreams are the only
Way for ‘us’ to be-
You have made a dreamer,
A dreamer out of me.
I have become a slave,
To a world of my mind
happiness is attainable
but to this land it is confined
and sadness does occur,
and my heart tends to ache
only once on this trip
when I begin to wake.

original:
I may only dream of being with someone as amazing as her,
but if dreams are the only way of being with her…
then she has made a dreamer out of me,
a sleep addict,
a slave to a world where happiness is attainable,
and sadness only occurs upon waking.
I wrote that in this book I write random things in.. then I elaborated and came up with the poem.

This poem is pointless... its pathetic really, these words wont get her to love me, what a romantic thought: that my WORDS could convince her of anything.

Pretty cool poem and i find it quite zen A zen quote goes this way - We each get there right on time.. Dreams are about lapses in time and are neutral grounds. The regular practice of dreaming produces progress toward learning to do it in real performance and risktaking. I see dreams as a series of experiments you learn about engaging in decision making. Your whole poem is full of wisdom about waiting and deciding. They are guidance in answers. I thought your poem was clever. Best regards.
