Not Right; Apologies To Those Who Think It Is

Something isn't right here
How can we be such good friends
If she believes something that absurd?

She is wiccan and an atheist
So what does she believe
About the afterlife?
After we leave this world behind?
Somebody has to believe something
About death...
But she don't care
She plans to stay here and haunt everybody

Great idea.

Of course
The witchcraft and wizardry stuff
Is kind of fun

Lord forgive me for saying that.

But it's not right
God is King of kings
And Lord of lords
He is the Almighty
Who chooses when we die
And creates us in our mother's wombs

How did we get here
If God does not exist
And evolution's theory
Is too whacked to even be near true?

That's my question to you.

Author notes

For starters, the person in this poem knows who she is, and I am not bashing her in any way. I am just following Option Five to the best of my ability.

My faith is kind of listed but also reached in a roundabout way in the questions I ask.

Personally, I like the idea of heaven.

wow- I just read your comments- I think everyone just totally missed the point of what you were saying. I also think casting spells would be cool, fun- especially if got actual results. I think that is the spirit you meant it in- and you made it pretty clear!

evolutionary theory is not really true- it's just the best explanation we have, and I mean the best by a zillionth decimal points- like the tiniest fractions, so therefore it seems quite plausable that it IS true. But I know evidence can actually squew the picture rather than clarify it.

This was very interesting write. I try to live by faith, and I pray that my eternity depends more on God's choices and love for me, rather than my own.

i didn't mean it to offend anyone. this poem was for a contest, okay? I like both religions to be quite honest with you. However, what do wiccans believe about the afterlife and creation, and who can you go to who knows all things and pray to to help you in time of need? that is my question.
