Ho! God of all eternity
What are your thoughts today?
Make known your plans to guide us
In what way should we pray ?
Here brother is fighting brother
Well intended religion is confusing
Please help us through this Holy mess
Where religious peace is a delusion
We all agree there is one God
That fact stands out a mile
But scriptures practiced by one faith
Can make other clerics rile
Ho! God of all eternity
Don’t you want us to feel safe?
Surely it would be more practical
If all mankind could share one faith
You have created a world that’s beautiful
It is breathtaking in its magnificence
Oh! Why . . Oh! Why . . must we destroy
Has life really no significance ?
There is such glory in every sunrise
Announcing yet another day’s arrival
But in the deserts and the jungles
Soldiers’ are fighting for survival
Ho! God of all eternity

Outstanding. I believe there is Intelligent Design in nature, but "God" and "Allah" are words personifying it.

Scriptures tell us that even creation makes the Creator known. I agree that our meager human comprehension has indeed taken away from the perfection that God wishes for us. We "see through a glass, darkly," after all.
Today's Christians often fall into the same traps as the Pharisees of Jesus' day, living with religiosity in lieu of God's grace and agape love.

This is beautiful Albert! The voice that rings from these words could be any of us but the "Yo" lets me know it comes from a youthful heart. I am often confounded as to what I should pray for, even how I should pray so, I just say to the Lord; "you know my heart God, listen to me from inside". The spirit of the writer spills from this poem. You are beautiful Albert as is you poetry. I LOVE YOU!

Really Good
On a personal level I like this but Kevin has stressed that this book must have no religoius, themed,Sex,dark poems. Those book will probably follow but this first one has to be general poems only.
I will keep this bookmarked for the next Book.

i absolutely love this poem.. it is staggering.. You have expressed yourself in a very poetic manner. it was slightly repetitive in a pleasant way. you speak of a topic that i am greatly passionate about. as one of jehovah's witnesses i try to make God #1 in my life. I cannot wait for the day when he vindicates his name and reestablishes his kingdom here on Earth.. Awesome inspirational write
