Happy Pills

A cocoon of memories and silence
Breaking free of a screaming sound
As we emerge from the darkness
Together forever baby doll
Happy pills and glitter eyes
Consume the world that spins
Ever so fast
Once we believed in miracles
But now we turn to the beauty department
Of plastic surgery and happy pills
They can 'help' us
Make us acceptable
But then again
They can make you hallucinate
And watch the walls scribble light
Onto the blood stained floor
Beauty comes at a price these days
But to be loved and respected
It's the price you must pay
Take a pill or two
You'll find yourself a lot better
You can be free and not care
Having the time of your life
Another way to make the world perfect
Who cares if you pop
Just a couple of small insignificant pills
What does it matter
You look beautiful don't you
Everyone will love you
But you've got a lot to learn baby doll
Sweet dreams in hell my dear
Those happy pills will break you
They'll make you sad in the end
Forget the perfection of society
Just try to ignore the flashing signs
We can be the angels with neon halos
The ones who don't need happy pills

"And watch the walls scribble light

    This was great.
Personally I think the rest of the poem was a bit too literal, and the vocabulary could have been a bit more extensive. Expand your horizons XD
But it was lovely to see your take on the picture thank you.
