Farewell And Goodbye

The love I once had for you is gone
and sadness has taken it's place
all the plans we had made have been withdrawn
because you are a big disgrace
you lied and cheated and called me names
when all I wanted was your love and respect
so if anything you're the one to blame
I am the one you chose to neglect
so I will say farewell and goodbye
and no disrepect
but I wish you would die
for my heart and soul I collect

Please tell me what you think

    Dear Maryann22,

Well, I just re-checked my Favourites List and yoiu are definitely there, number 20 so I cannot understand how I missed these last three of your poems as I always check everything that appears on my 'New by Favourites' and, if it's not a contest poem, I always read it and comment.
Now why not enter in our Huguenauties Contests where I guarantee you will get some really fine comments and Ken-Maverick is more than welcome to visit and comment there too.
Now this poem is, in your usual style, a forthright, no-nonsense utterance which is one of your poetic qualities that I so admire. You tell it, baby.
Please write more often - if only for Ken and me.
Applause, love and hugs, XXX Hugh.
