She is such a joy
A little ball of energy
The sweetest little girl
She is so cute
Running up and down the rows
Playing in the church
When I am blessed with a child
I would want a little girl
A little girl just like her
I play with her each Sunday
She is my baby girl
My little buddy
People ask if she is mine
Saying how cute she is
And how I look like I am her dad
I would protect her with my life
No harm will ever come to that sweet child
The best little girl in the world
I hate when I have to go home
She gives me a big hug
And clings to me telling me to stay
I tell her I will see her next Sunday
Then give her a kiss on the cheek
And spin her for the last time and I have to go
A little ball of energy
The sweetest little girl
She is so cute
Running up and down the rows
Playing in the church
When I am blessed with a child
I would want a little girl
A little girl just like her
I play with her each Sunday
She is my baby girl
My little buddy
People ask if she is mine
Saying how cute she is
And how I look like I am her dad
I would protect her with my life
No harm will ever come to that sweet child
The best little girl in the world
I hate when I have to go home
She gives me a big hug
And clings to me telling me to stay
I tell her I will see her next Sunday
Then give her a kiss on the cheek
And spin her for the last time and I have to go

We've talked about her so many times, that I feel that I know little Ashley! She does sound like a precious little girl! And I know she must really adore you, too! Very seldom do you run across a man of your age that loves little ones so much; that talks about wanting children of his own! That's such a great thing! And I know that means that you'll be nothing but a terrific father, when you finally have your own! A really precious poem, Robin! One that allowed us to look inside your sweet heart!

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!! Robin, this is just too sweet! Children are such amazing little beings...the most wondrous creatures on this earth...and when we are with them, we can again be the children we wish we still were sometimes (that is one of the things i love best about being a mom...lol...no one thinks it is too ridiculous when they see me rolling around in a pile of leaves or sledding or going on the kiddie rides at the amusement park...LOL!...after all...i am only doing it to make my daughter happy, right???hahahahhahaha! Of course...that is it! lol)
You have a keen eye for the things that are most important in life...never let your heart find distance from those feelings.

And P.S. : Fuschia is my favorite color too! The only color i use on messengers and email...that just struck me as funny...lol...You sure that was not me you were spinning around on Sunday? hahahahaha...ummmmmm...okay...guess not...i am just a wee bit older...but all kids love that dizzy feeling you get when spinning...i still love the feeling of my head spinning...

So many times when we're on the phone Ashley gets brought up. She must be a beautifully wonderful child for you to think so highly of her. This is a great write baby. I can't wait to meet her. She seems so wonderful. Great job.
I love you..........................................Jessica.

A delightful poem, you have a good heart. I feel similarly about children in general. I have helped rear my five younger siblings and enjoyed this experience thoroughly.
