I walk all around
With no shoes on my feet
Hoping for an end to the endless concrete
I notice a girl
With the same style as me
She’s walking ‘round barefoot for everyone to see
I see her flip-flops
Laying off to the side
I couldn’t forget her as hard as I tried
She says guys are morons
And she may just be right
But since when do guys have to be smart to fight?
I walk barefoot
Because every time I see her
I feel the earth move under my feet

^^ You pretty much described me in your poem here, brother. I'm barefoot all the time, and I pretty much think guys are morons. But, alas, I love them anyway. Great write by you, the rhyming is great.

This is really cute, I do like the last couple of lines. Although of course it's terrible for your feet to go barefoot all the time. Feet get jacked up looking pretty quick, and nobody wants to date someone with jacked up feet.
Thank you for entering the contest, good luck.

this is nice...
yeah, i hate wearing shoes, too. especially on grass...
of course, in India, not wearing any shoes is no big deal, of course, we have to wear shoes to school, but at any time of the day, you can usually see people running around barefoot!
great job!! -
hmm this must be about a girlfriend? ...it's cute! and i guess my advice would be, try on some shoes every once in awhile.. good luck in the contest
