A mockery to lights,
a sham to what is real.
Last sight touches eyes
alone to my dreams

Falling from your post
blackness streaked in gold.
Never thought we envied flaws
Imperfection, the new me.

Forever last to the day
starting with only one.
By the moon, you are brilliant
But fades in the sun.

Stars, Stars.
Holy breath of the heavens
Stars, Stars.
If I cry, will you comfort me?

Singing only pure delight
screaming out only the names
Never alone like you are
Distant, and far apart

One last memory
sketched in my favorite book
Maybe again tomorrow night
We'll find time to talk some more

    i really like the phrasse that you put in your author notes its very true! and the poem is really well written and i totally enjoyed reading it! ill be reading more of you poetry very soon
