Softest of breezes billowing in me,
lingering beyond kisses on my cheeks,
speaks of love once held, suddenly let go.
Rays of sunshine upon my golden skin,
warming the chill within my saddened heart,
tells of a day memories did not kill.
Night beams falling from the moon’s sweetened face,
bring hope to a soul once suicidal,
leaves dreams where the hole that was once you was.
Hope, creating beauty, brings new life here,
whispering tomorrow’s promise with love,
exhales all that I need to survive now.
