What a waste?

I went to look for food in the fridge and heard
"What are you doing?"
I thought it quite clear that I was looking for food in the fridge
"You're wasting electricity!"
Suddenly the door shut!

I went to look for food in the freezer and heard
"Stop that!"
But I was hungry
"You're wasting electricity!"
Suddenly the door shut!

I sat down to play some games and heard
"What do you think you're doing?"
I looked at my controller and made my character spin
"Give me that! You're wasting electricity!"
And suddently the controller was gone!

I went upstairs to watch TV, turned my fan on and heard
"Turn that off!"
But my room is 90* and I don't want to melt
"You're wasting electricity!"

I looked around to see that the voice had turned on her own TV, the bathroom light, the kitchen light, the hallway light, left the TV on downstairs, the computer running, an HP printer on, a canon printer on, the phone off the hook, and her the air conditioning was on with the windows open. I pointed at them all, and asked why I couldn't keep my fan on. The voice replied, "You don't like it? Then you pay for it!"

Author notes

My sister went foreging for food earlier today and my mother told her that she was wasting electricity by opening up the fridge. Then our mother had a fit because the standy-by light was on on our PS2. The stand-by light does not mean it's on- in fact the only power going to the system at that point is to that tiny 1/2 watt bulb.

    Your mommy = psycho. and i'd go to the fridge for food and leave the door open for 20mins. just to let the cold out and waste energy. dude. Turn on every light in the house! hehehe.

    YOU TWO SHOULD STOP USING EVERYTHING SHE IS COMPLAINGING ABOUT FOR ONE MONTH THEN IF SHE STILL COMPLAINS TELL HER SHE WAS THE ONLY ONE WASTING ENERGY AND MAYBE SHE SHOULD START HEEDING HER OWN WORDS VERY GOOD POEM BY THE WAY
