    profoundly moving haiku...

I miss reading your poetry. I went without a computer for well over a year after it crashed, but I have another now. I have a fondness for creative imagery, and this one definitely leaves me smiling. Very well done! Bravo!

    Lions poetry auction #1

    This was YUMMY
    The haiku was so perfect
    The form is SO HARD
And you fitted in so much
And really did it so well
To get the meaning and the needed beauty to get to the reader
    The last line was PERFECT
    Well done

You truly came thru with a awesome write for a incredible amber & topaz lit sunset Abeauty all their own magesticly enhanced by the ruby setting sun. well done my friend xx No offence hun but what Jeff Swan was referring to was the jewels in first line 1 syllable giving it a 4 count instead of 5-either way it's well written and a beautiful piece xxx

I, as well as many other Poets here on AP, are accustomed to using ( one ) syllable counter which is fail-proof ~

      http://www.wordscount.info/hw/syllable.jsp

      *jewels* is two syllables, not one, making my beginning line, ( 5 ) syllables....not ( 4 ) ~

No offense Hun, but there is nothing wrong with my syllable count ~

      Have a lovely evening ~

    LIONS AUCTION #1

What a creative piece to see the beautiful setting sun as a ruby, the use of the jewelry-referenced words, the thought-twist of the fire the jewel which the fire creates, all as brilliant as the photo.

Hooray for haikus! You are always able to capture the beauty of nature so well with your words, and this haiku is no exception. Fantastic picture to go along with the poem. Even your font colors accentuate the beautiful sunset. Masterfully penned, as always uncle bear >pixxie<

    My Dearest Uncle,

This is just amazing!!!!!!! Something so soft and delicate in this one! Makes one long for the sun (which has left us behind today) and the romance can be found with sunsets/sunrises that are just as beautiful as the one in your picture, and that you speak of!!!!! Great one! Best of luck in the contest!!

    Love ya bunches!
