There are seasons that we go through
at times it's not so clear
The night feels like forever
with daylight never near
The load gets awfully heavy
and we may bend beneath its weight
and when we look up for the moment
more has been added to our plate
Our hope may start diminishing
When the end is hard to see
but when you get a chance to take a breath
just ask the Lord what He sees
I have a feeling He'd say to you
"Though your burdens may be heavy,
I know that you'll pull through~
with those distractions~it's Me you need to see.
"Come to me and cry out,
for My ear is never deaf
I'm always here to help you~
no matter what the mess.
"You are my dear beloved
and nothing goes unseen
I am there to catch your tear
and embrace your every pain
"Your calling is a special one
and there are so very few
You have a heart that can be touched
and for this I want to thank-you.
"Hold onto the hope that is within you
and fail you - it cannot
Remember that I'm faithful
and forget you I have not

Strong Truth
This is just so lovely and true. How often we forget to go to the One who can lead us through. At least, we often turn to Him as a last resort, when He should be our first encounter..not just in times of trouble, but daily....continuously. And congrats on the trophy it won.

I like this because it seems like something I would write; that is, I enjoy the mood and word usage. This has the tone of an ominous friendship, with love and support. It has tone of hope wrapped in truth much greater than we can imagine.
With a little more polish, this would be stupendous.
