I want some ice cream


I lost my topper just the other day
Should not have treated my girlfriend that way
This is me thinking 'cause my mouth can't say
My head is away, my head is away

I guess it needed a long vacation
Others suffer from retaliation
Guess I'm not alone in this vexation
Prefer castration, prefer castration

Body and soul need a head to make it
There's no easy way for one to fake it
Have to find a fill-in, I can't shake it
I just can't take it, I just can't take it

I hate to shop, it's so hard to decide
In my hollow mind nothing is implied
I have no eyes, I need a dog to guide
I should run and hide, I should run and hide

This excursion's spooky, like a bad dream
I'm lost in this haze, and I want to scream
Guess it isn't as bad as it may seem
I want some ice cream, I want some ice cream

    LOL You captured the picture effortlessly. LOL WOW! What a picture for inspiration. LOL I really laughed out loud at this stanza.

    Clever! Very clever! OUCH!

    I wish you well in this challenge. Seems you had no trouble with this form. I just learned it myself. It's not mine use it as often as you wish. I do have a form I created called; The RenRhyme. I'll IM you the link and you can try that one as well.

    I think I like this form I might just give it a try sometime. This is a cute poem, with a solid rhyming scheme and some great imagery.

    i always want ice cream, maybe that's why i am stuck in the chair lol - i thought i recognised the form then, and eek to castration, just gimmie the ice cream there's no need for castration. a good poem. oh by the way choc chip mint is best.
