When I come home exhausted,
After a horrible day,
All you'ld have to do is smile,
And it'd all be okay.

I could show up a mess,
Down with the blues,
You could come sit down with me,

Hardly words to express,
Hardly emotions to describe,
Seeing you next to me,
When I open my eyes.

I just hope that you know,
That it's always been you,
That I've wanted to be with,
And wake up next to.
