Tree House

Young trees need respect, for what they'll become.
Old trees need reverence, they're never done.
Let stand the sentinels...Leave them alone.
Living or dead, they give wildlife a home.

    Hallo Poetess!

Every time I see your name online, I sprint to your page to see: did she post? LOL I hope you are fine. Ah and I still love this poem. For trees made us breathe.

I do hope I may live in a tree house, one day ... Perhaps I may become a dove?

    Love
    Myra

I love trees ... and the spiritual meaning ...

and from roots to trunks to leaves I see a life unfold in every tree. I see faces in trees (sometimes memories bring tears to my eyes) and I am a devoted tree hugger. Thank you for this lovely "family" tree poem. It made me feel "I'm Home, again".

    Love
    Myra

Powerful and moving words with a lot of depth behind them. You have a very creative mind [which is highly necessary to be a good poet]. Some of the rhythm is a bit off, though only by a syllable or two. You have a lot of talent shining through this poem that could be matched with a little bit of fine-tuning to make this poem truly excellent.
