my torment, I am a mess

Once again I'm proved a fool

People can be so fucking cruel

They lead me down the path

No regard for aftermath

I wonder if they're amused

by the heart they have abused.

Jaded outlook on the world

As untruth is unfurled

My trust in you has faded

My soul again invaded.

What is the point of hope

at times it's hard to cope

Why am I so surprised

My faith in you despised.
