A thousand poets could pen for a thousand years
And fill many hundreds of pages too
But yet they'd still never find the right words
That truly say ~ I love you ~
And fill many hundreds of pages too
But yet they'd still never find the right words
That truly say ~ I love you ~
Author notes
People tend to write very long poems in order to express their love, im guilty of it myself, when really all it take is three little words...so here's a very short verse which hopes to get that message accross without the need for pages upon pages of writing. thanks for reading, take care xx

Short a sweet, really. You showed your love without having to explain it. Loverly

I could never agree more with this piece. Love is indescribable and incomparable to any words/phrases. You have taken truth and posted it on the town bulletin board.
I loved the rhyming too! Keep up the great work, good luck in the contest, and thanks for sharing!

words are meaningful in a short minute.

Like the contest title, this was very "short and sweet". Sounds like it would make a great [though somewhat cliche] Hallmark card. Then again, all Hallmark cards are a little bit cliche...
Cute poem, nice job.
