Little Caesar yonder sits
On Mommy's lap enthroned,
The undisputed master, he,
By each his vassals owned.
So fetch him grapes and morsels fair
To feed him as he plays,
And some amusing antics turn
To entertain his gaze.
The royal nappy needs a change
Attend! ye privy lords!
Then if with one toy he grows bored
Go fetch another from his hoard!
But...if from sleeping crib you think
With vain impunity to sneak,
Imprisoned lord your thought will see
For such is basest treachery!
Cuddle forth his joyous smiles
For such his laurels be
Bestowed upon his lowest thrall
With magnanimity!
Author notes
A miracle baby after a great loss, we all rather danced attendance on him!
And yes, that's how Caesar is spelled, at least according to the packaged salad in my fridge...

This is so stinking cute and a perfect way to tell someone what Boy is like. It's wonderful! Really, I love the flow and rhyme and everything! They word choice is great and it has got a flow that is so fun and free. Nicely done!
