cold that seeps into my heart
world so cruel it has forgotten
I thirst, but I hunger more
everything that could be mine
lost in this speedy time
I dream of that which I wish to find
Food, Drink, a bit of love
Laying down, I wait for help
A prayer of hope, not snuffed out
reveal the joys and hasten about
Soon the sun comes yet again
I search for my next small meal
A hand shows through, a pitiless coin
not simple, so fast for the world to thrive
Thank you, Kindness, you helped me live
Author notes
Sometimes I wonder if the homeless have it better than the rest of us. They worry about the basic things to survive. We worry about little things like appearance and political gain. I'd rather have the simple worry to find food.

You can have simplictiy in life homeless or not,
you have shown that even a small gesture can and will save someone, I think what the homeless have that a lot of us don't is they know the value of life..
Thanks for sharing many blessings,
