It's 3a.m.,
And I'm up writing a song,
About a romance,
That's sure to end up all wrong,
Baby, can't you see,
That it's not meant to be?
++Chorus++
Hey, Chase;
Can't you see me,
Standing outside of your window?
Time passes so slow,
Now that you're out of my life,
But I still love you.
Could you ever love me too?
=End Chorus=
Five years ago,
We were just kids,
And we were the best of friends,
It's funny how those days end so quickly.
Wherever you were,
I was to,
Standing close to you,
We were inseperable.
Now we think we're so grown up,
But we don't know the alf of it.
Here I sit,
Wondering if you still remember my name,
And can we were be the same,
As we were back then?
++chorus++
And there she goes,
She's so beautiful,
And she's everything I'm not,
(But do you love her?)
I would give anythingm
Or do anything,
To have you look at me that way.
Is there anything that I could say,
To make you love me?
++chorus++
It's 3a.m.,
And I'm up writing a song,
About a romance,
That's sure to end up all wrong...
Author notes
I hate this line! "Wherever you were,I was to,..." Anyone else so the gramatical error? But not much rhymes with 'was', & a lot of things rhyme with 'to'.
Please tell me what you think
