Suspended by horsehair strings
Over an infinite drop,
Hanging by the tiniest thread
As the bow begins to snap and break.
Falling through a crescendo
Of dissonant harmonies,
Eyes and ears screaming for release
From this mad dance of illusions.
Wrapped in steel cords,
Pressing sharply into my flesh,
Spilling crimson guilt on ivory
With burdened bloody fingers.
Crying out of tune,
Stumbling to a peaceful halt.
Clanging of chimes shake the ground
As I trip on the nothing beneath.
Pressed harshly into the dirt,
Trampled by the onslaught of the melody,
Shattered like glass, my fragile hands
Offer this chaotic aria to the light above.

This is really amazing. I like how each but sort've bounces around echoes of different instruments like slowly building a small symphony or something. The word choice is sooo dramatic the entire thing is like an unstoppable force. Excellent!!
