Last night I heard my ol' brother ask,
"Maw,can I go to the creek now?"
"Now son I done told you no,"she said
"Now stop milking a dead cow"
Now my ol' bro ain't the smartest type
A few boards short of a barn
"But maw, I just just saw Bessie lying there
I didn't think it would do no harm"
The day I arrive back from camp
After a long and homesick week
Quiet nights and fire lights
Not a sound except a cricket's creep
I open my front door
To pots and pans a'slingin'
Ahh, home is where the heart is
As mom's skillet sends my dad's head to ringin'
"You darn dirty dog,"
She scream at her spouse,
"Get all your things
And get out of my house!"
"You call your woman
And hit road,
before I make that come true
And she has to add you to the load!"

this is good, I got a chuckle out of this one. Great job.I like the way it reads like a conversation. Good luck in the contest.
