So quiet
So quiet yet I hear a thousand men
I hear their painful cries, as they beg helplessly for their lives
Lord be with me
Lord please carry me in your arms
Lead me to safety
Oh my mother
My father, my brothers, my sisters
Lord be here
Let me see there faces
Happy
Are they happy?
I remember only one day
The day I got the notice, I will be sent over seas
Unhappy
Mother crying
I was suppose to be her baby
how did i grow do desire this?
Remember the fun we had sisters?
Playing with our shared friends
We got along so well
Remember all those talks brother?
You showed me how to see life at its fullest?
Remember?
So quiet
Where am I walking to?
To death or to honor?
A thousand men
How do they just vanish?
When will I see them?
In heaven?
Are we saviors of our country?
Murderers?
i feel uncertain now as I'm walking
Will you judge us lord?
Still I am walking
I will not look back on those terrible things
So quiet
Lord are you with me?
