I told him
how scary you could be
told him how you shouted
and you screamed
I told him
how you'd judge him
and me, we'd fail for sure
in your opinion
I told him
how it didn't feel
like home was really home
how friends are home to me
But now
I want him to come
to see you, to meet you
to tell me that he likes you
Because home
is home to me
in some strange sense
I don't even comprehend
I wish I hadn't scared him
Author notes
3/4/5
This is about my boyfriend, I really sorta scared him, he didn't want to meet my parents (my mother especially), because I had told so many horrible things about them (which are kinda true actually, but yeah..)
Luckily he now has agreed to meet my family, because I told him how important it is for me that he meets them. And that he sees my hometown.
I didn't realize it meant THAT much to me ...

oo, the boyfriend meeting the parents...always a funny thing to watch. My boyfriends known my family for 8 months and hes still shy and quiet and scared of upsetting my dad...who is evil but thats a different story. Thank you for this entry, it's well written and I enjoyed reading! Take care, Sam (Dreams27) xxx
