Manacles of Time

Oh! What troubles the mind in such times where
We at best could do more with so much less
For some a paper weight to exchange
For the burdens that in gain
Have made flight such a troublesome bore?

To which have we agreed to accept
In our minds
To be a fair compromise?
A feather weight no more?
Be thee warned!!!  Oh! Soul will thou thee scorn
After a later reprove
Reveals that nothing of weight or discord
Was ever ours to bare!
For we were created for freedom and liberty
And the right to the pursuit of happiness
And self-actualization!

Be therefore all thine understanding
What shackles at this moment I
In turn will shatter
With but these whispers
In the hues of an emerald day
And sapphire sky!
FLY!!!

    Cool

A very nice point it follows the teachings in Matthew speaking of worrying only of today and not tomorrow. Not to mean that we should not think about tomorrow, but that we should not worry ourselves with the outcome. Very Nice piece, you might want to remove the "And the right to the pursuit of happiness" line, it is too cliche, but otherwise great.
